Raucous pub quizzes on a Tuesday form the bulk of my experience with The Windsor - and it rates highly. Usually raucous and funny, the quiz night is a must-go. The rest of the week is punctuated with Pool Comps and Badge Draws, and the pub is generally a good night out.

The Windsor is a one-bar pub, though the room is discreetly divided into 'restaurant' (an informal 'Laksa House') and 'bar', with two pool tables between, and Pokies off to one side. The layout takes advantage of the L-Shaped layout of the room, and the layout really works.

The bar is generally uncrowded and the service usually good. Bottle Shop sales are an 'over-the-counter' job. The overall opinion? 4 stars.

Nice to know that the Windsor Castle is still there. I used to have a good time there when I lived in Paddington from 1968 to 1972.

I don't no about Bohemia? But the pool comps on Wednesday for $100 dead easy:) cash. Occasional sexy barmaid and no noticable bohemians thank god!

Would like to see the history of the Windsor Castle in this article...I used to frequent the place back in the 60s when Paddington was bohemia and I was part of it.

The Pub Quiz is Just HILARIOUS. You HAVE to go (and get as drunk as you can doing it)

Jason says:

The Pulp Fact quiz is no longer a fixture here (try the OBar instead)

Without question, the greatest invention in the history of mankind is beer. Oh, I grant you that the wheel was also a fine invention, but the wheel does not go nearly as well with pizza. : Dave Barry - more quotes...
