Unassumingly positioned between St John's and Bridge Street in Glebe, this bar is a personal favourite. You could be forgiven for walking straight past it if you didn't know it was there. Lit by a pink neon "cocktails' sign and decorated with old movie paraphernalia, an 80's inspired mannequin and taxi sign it attracts a huge cross section of Sydney-siders. A fab place to meet for a drink with a great range of tasty tapas available should you get peckish as you work your way through your bucket (yes that is BUCKET) of sangria. Opening at 6pm it starts off quiet and is a perfect way to start the night if you want to avoid the typical after-work drinks crowd. It also comes up trumps as a place to stop off at about 1am as this is when it really comes alive and is packed with locals. With no tap beer and spirits starting at about $6.00 each it is not as cheap as many of the local pubs but well worth the effort for the notable absence of drunken backpackers and unflattering pub lighting. Now under new ownership, trading as usual, with a drop in drink prices!! Cocktails au go go.

I heard they closed - if it's true, I'll be very sad.

Not really a pub, but it does have a good atmosphere and some decent mex-tex/tapas style food.
