Newtown & South West

The student capital and it's surrounding areas

Newtown forms the hub of this area, being an enormously busy part of town, young, full of energy and up for a party. The area stretched out along towards Marrickville and St. Peters

If you want live music, you should probably consider Newtown and Enmore as high-on-the-list - there are some really great music pubs here, likewise it's a modern, gay-friendly area populateds with students and artists, so there's a lot of variety to be found. Try wandering off the beaten track a little, too, and I don't think you'll be disappointed.

Without question, the greatest invention in the history of mankind is beer. Oh, I grant you that the wheel was also a fine invention, but the wheel does not go nearly as well with pizza. : Dave Barry - more quotes...
